Sofie is a queer British illustrator living in Denver with her wife Erika and dog Arthur, who are both very tall and very smart. She is a freelance illustrator and the in-house illustrator for Grit (the craftiest design agency in town). Sofie creates bold characters and bright, playful images which prioritize inclusive representation, encourage daydreams, and above all aim to empower. She has created queer and trans inclusive illustrations for Bloomsbury, Cosmopolitan, Playboy, Badoo and Nobrow Press among others, and uses her work to promote the gay agenda whenever possible. She likes getting emotional at estate sales, ghost stories, and movies about friendship, and dislikes rain, bureaucracy, and writing about herself in the third person.
