This book dealt with scientific research in terms of concept, objectives, importance, and knowledge methods. It also dealt with scientific research steps starting from choosing a research problem, choosing data collection tools, data analysis, and writing a research report. This book also dealt with a continuum of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed scientific research, explaining how the prevailing philosophies influenced the research methodology and design in each period, whether positivist, constructivist, and pragmatic philosophy. The designs of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed research are covered in detail. It also dealt with research ethics with its various quantitative, qualitative, and mixed designs and the role of ethics committees and IRB, as well as dealing with the topic of the professional, scientific researcher and his skills, the scientific publishing process and criteria for selecting journals, as well as the topic of investing the outputs of scientific research.
