Moon Mouse lives far out in space, with only his garden and his ideas for company. Mouse loves his home, but when he spies a birthday party on Earth through his telescope, he finds himself wishing he could join in the fun. Corrinne Averiss is renowned for her poignant heart-warming picture books for young children. Her books have been sold around the world and translated into over 20 languages. My Pet Star is her tender story about love and loss and won Sainsbury's Children's Book of the Year in 2019. LOVE (illus. Beautyman/Quarto) has found worldwide success as a celebration of family love and remedy for separation anxiety. Corrinne has published titles with Andersen Press, Farshore, OUP, Quarto, Stripes and Hachette. She has also worked in children's television for over 20 years as a writer and producer/director. She created Tweedy & Fluff, the beautiful stop-motion series on Milkshake! Channel 5 and Share a Story for CiTV, which has been awarded no less than 4 Children's BAFTAs. Corrinne grew up in the Midlands, studied English Literature at the University of St Andrews and settled somewhere between the two - in a little town between Manchester and the Peak District with her husband, daughter and Alba the tabby cat.Lorna Hill is an author and illustrator based in Suffolk, UK. She graduated from the Norwich University of the Arts with BA(Hons) in illustration. Using a combination of digital and traditional methods, much of Lorna's work is inspired by nature and mental wellbeing. Lorna was the winner of the Carmelite Prize 2021.
