Author Dr Liam Drew's first book was I, Mammal: The Story of What Makes us Mammals (Bloomsbury, 2017). A former neurobiologist, he has also written for Nature, New Scientist, and The Guardian. He also contributed to DK's How the Brain Works (2020).
