X-Men's School for the Gifted... in space
Inside IAS--Institute of Adapted Soldiers--Brant teaches evolved children to control their special abilities. Under Brant's safekeeping, the kids learn to accept that they're exceptional people, not deadly mutants. But a looming war might steal Brant from his students.
Robots have been built that target and kill humans with specific genes. If this technology isn't destroyed, entire cultures will be wiped out. The school's soldiers line up to fight this battle, and IAS included Brant in their ranks.
But with the soldiers gone, IAS is left vulnerable. The adapted assasins Brant fought on his last mission decide to strike. They plot to invade IAS and destroy everyone Brant protects.
Which fight will be Brant's? And who will protect his students if he's sent off?
