First one is about the roles of Nigeria female popular music artises in the Nigeria society. Where the writer randomly looks into the life and works of one of the existing Nigeria female artistes for his argument. Secondly, the Author looks into the roles and functions of traditional master instrumentalists and drummers where he picked APEPE MUSIC to established his claim.

The author is a trained teacher and musicologist. He attended Federal College of Education, Abeokuta where he obtained (NCE) in music and University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State for his (B.A) in music both in Nigeria. He is a multi-instrumentalist, researcher, conductor and a photographer. He is happily married.
