Gregor the Overlander

Unter den Straßen von New York beginnt dein größtes Abenteuer. Als der elfjährige Gregor seine kleine Schwester vor dem Sturz in einen Lüftungsschacht bewahren will, fallen sie in ein scheinbar endloses Nichts. Sie landen im Unterland, einer Welt unterhalb von New York City. Dort leben fast durchsichtig wirkende Menschen neben riesigen sprechenden Kakerlaken und Fledermäusen. Gregor ist fasziniert, will aber trotzdem nur eins: so schnell wie möglich zurück nach Hause. Es genügt schon, dass sein Vater vor mehr als zwei Jahren spurlos verschwunden ist! Da erfährt Gregor, dass er in einer Prophezeiung vorkommt. Wenn er sich auf sie einlässt, könnte er nicht nur den Unterländern helfen, sondern auch seinen Vater finden.
