John Farndon is British writer, best known for his science books for children, as well as his song writing and poetry and literature translation. Having studied Earth sciences and English literature at Cambridge University, he has gone on to publish over 900 books and has been shortlisted five times for the Royal Society Young People’s Science Book Prize, and once for the Blue Peter Book Award. His interests range widely, and he writes on many topics from Chemistry to China and beyond.
