Celesse, the healer cat, is a highly respected member of the neighborhood. As the mistress's favorite cat, she spends lazy days in the warmth of the house.
One snowy night a mother hare rushes in, desperate for help. Reluctantly, the healer cat travels with her through a nighttime snowstorm and biting cold winds. In a dark forest, Celesse comes face-to-face with a scary surprise and is forced to gather her powers for the first time in a while.

Maar plotseling stormt een moederhaas naar binnen en vraagt haar om hulp. Haar aandringen wint het van de terughoudendheid van de geneeskat, en de haas neemt haar mee door een nacht vol sneeuwstormen en bijtende vorst. In een donker bos komt Celesse oog in oog te staan met een angstaanjagende verrassing en wordt ze gedwongen al haar krachten te verzamelen.

Her doctoral dissertation, published in 2015, examines the limits of freedom of speech in the Finnish mass media amidst the social and cultural shifts of the 1960s and 1970s. Prior to her doctoral research, Tuula Pere had a career spanning over two decades as a lawyer and held various expert and executive positions in large industrial companies.Since 2010, Tuula Pere has published over seventy children's books, many of which have been translated into multiple languages. She has also authored poetry and aphorisms for children, as well as short stories and non-fiction for adults. Tuula Pere is an avid music and sports enthusiast and a keen baker. She is married and the mother of three.
