For twelve years the Terry Hetherington Young Writers Award has provided a platform for emerging young writers from and living in Wales. In this skillful and diverse collection of stories and poems, we celebrate the very best entries to this year's award. This year's winners include: Eleanor Howe is originally from Derbyshire. She currently lives in North Wales in a beautiful old barge. She writes about nature and landscape. Eleanor's non-fiction and critical work has been published online.

Nathan Munday is currently living in a remote valley in Snowdonia. He completed his doctorate in literature last September. His travel book, Seven Days, published by Parthian, was a runner up in New Welsh Writing Awards 2016. Cynan Llwyd lives in Cardiff. He was published in Cheval 10, as well as in the Welsh language collection Byd Crwm, published by Y Lolfa.
