Alcuni versi di questo Melodramma, clic parve condannato all' obblio, fecer mostra di sè in altri miei lavori: era ovvio sosli luire ai menzionati altri versi, ma ero poteva nuocere alla musica ed è in rispetto di essa, e dell'insigne, quanto infelice amico che ne fu l'autore, se io lascio la poesia qual fu in origine, invocando all'uopo la publica indulgenza.
