Während demnach die Sterblichkeit nur in Krain Galizien und der Bukowina überdurchschnittlich ist, bleibt die Zahl der Verlassenschaften sowohl im Vergleiche mit der Bevölkerung als auch mit den Sterbefällen nur im Küsten lande, in Galizien, Bukowina und Dalmatien hinter dem Durchschnitte zurück. Die Alpenländer übertreffen denselben in beiden Beziehungen sehr erheblich; Böhmen und Mähren kommen dem Durchschnitte am nächsten.
