Was die westfälische Division Hammerstein 6 Bataillone, 8 Schwadronen 5000 Mann, 12 Geschütze anlangt, welche bereits am 3. Mai von Heiligent her zum VI. Armee - Corps ge stoßen war, so wurde dieselbe bereits jetzt aufgelöst, da man den Truppen nicht trauen zu können glaubte; die Infanterie verblieb als Besatzung in Dresden, während die Kavallerie zum General Beaumont und mit diesem später zum XII. Armee-corps stieß.
