Empero, no es esto todo: de retorno en la Habana, busco las notas inútilmente, y cuando ya había perdido la esperanza de hallarlas, las encuentro entre una multitud de papeles que exis tían en el Instituto de Segunda Enseñanza de la Habana, que se iban a arrojar como inútiles y que registré porque se me dijo habían pertenecido a don Juan (dr. Gundlach) y esto me hizo pensar que entre ellos habría algo útil.
