Ich habe meine Ansicht uber die Stellung der Elegiker schon bei Gelegenheit der Recension der romischen Elegie von Volz (philol. Anzeiger 1875, S. 430 ff.) ausgesprochen und zu meiner Freude die Zustimmung von H. Magnus gefunden, der, wenn irgend einer, in den romischen Elegikern bewandert ist und mehr als einmal allein das Richtige erkannt hat.
