Il était intéressant de savoir si les graviers anciens, qui domi nent, me semble-t-il, la rivière en étiage de 4 a 10 mètres tout au plus, contenaient des restes industriels plus anciens. J'eus le plaisir d'en découvrir en ellet un petit nombre sur la rive droite, un peu en aval de la gorge où le Zujar coupe la Sierra de la Mora leja, et sur la rive gauche, dans cette même gorge.
