All that now remains for me to fay is, that I ¿atter my felf this Second Edition of Cato, efpecially with fo many Improve ments, will not meet witha lefs favourable Acceptance from the Public than the hri'c; and as lam fenfible, though my Method were ever fo good, of the Strength of Prejudice, and Prevalence of Gnilom, and that I can't expo& it to meet with a univerfal Approbation, I h0pe it will be candidly received by the judicious, and at leali, not appear irrational to any.
