Facing a highly agressive German opposition, the « pianists », both men and women, had a terribly short life expectancy : less than six months....

This book also presents the clandestine radio equipment that allowed covert agents to send their messages from deep inside occupied France first to London and then, from 1942 on, to Algiers.
