Excerpt from Contents of the Medico-Chirurgical Review, and Journal of Practical Medicine, Vol. 27: 1st of April to 30th of September, 1837; Vol; VII. Of Decennial Series
In proof of the preceding statements, Mr. Curling refers to preparations in the musea of St. Thomas's Hospital, Guy's Hospital, St. Bartholomew's Hospital, the London Hospital, the London College, King's College, Mr. Langstaff; and Mr. R. R. Robinson. The preparations in question certainly go to establish the general fact for which Mr. Curling contends, and if there should prove on more extended inquiry to be numerous exceptions, it is something to have pointed out the tendency which must still be admitted to exist. So far as the injury has actually gone, it is only fair to state that the exceptions are not numerous.
