I N the Preface to the First Edition of the Shooter's Guide, I informed the reader that the idea of publish ing such a book first arose fior'n my conviction of the want of a little volume which should convey, in as concise and plain a manner as possible, every injbr matlon requisite for the shooting sportsman its rapid sale seems to indicate My success, and induces me to issue a second edition.
