Aus dem Revisionsbericht ersieht man, daß wir uber zwei Fassungen des Textes verfügen. Die Bibliothek San Marco besitzt ein geschriebenes Exemplar, und ein gedrucktes von 1656. Jenes hat Monteverdi vor gelegen; die Fassung der Partitur steht ihm näher als diesem. Aber sie zeigt auch von ihm Abweichungen, die Monteverdi selbst vornahm, und auf die ich im Laufe der Abhandlung zurückkomme. Mitgeteilt (unter III.)
