Un corps abandonné à lui - même tombe vers la Terre, mais un corps inerte, c'est - à - dire dépourvu de volonté, indifférent au repos comme au mouvement, ne peut se mouvoir, ne peut tomber, ne peut marcher de haut en bas que si une force l'y oblige.
