Excerpt from Die Catonischen Distichen Während des Mittelalters in der Englischen und Französischen Literatur, Vol. 1: Der Englische Cato; Inaugural-Dissertation zur Erlangung der Philosophischen Doctorwürde an der Universität Leipzig
Am 28. December v. J. Reichte ich bei hiesiger philosophischer Facultät eine Arbeit: "die Catonischen Distichen während des Mittelalters in der französischen und englischen Literatur mit dem Ersuchen ein, es möchte mir gestattet werden, nur einen Theil der selben als inaugural-dissertation drucken zu lassen. Die philosophische Facultät bestimmte hierauf den vorliegenden Theil fiir den Druck.
