IN the following notes I have not aimed at giving a full account of the whole contents of the various mss., but have mainly confined myself to a description of that part which contains the English glosses. Further details as to the contents of the unglossed portions of the mss. Must be sought for in the various printed catalogues, where such exist. Only in one or two cases have I departed from this rule.
