Effect of vegetation on floods in the river Magra

The influence of vegetation on flood is studied by modelling a part of the river Magra in Italy. This has improved the knowledge about the influence of the presence of vegetation on water level on a flood in order to evaluate the effectiveness of different flood mitigation strategies by vegetation management. This book is going to be especially useful for engineers who want to evaluate the effectiveness of flood mitigation strategies by vegetation management.
