Martine Oborne was originally a financial director but now writes for both children and adults and owns two gift shops for children. Her bestselling picture book, ONE GORGEOUS BABY (978 0 3339 6038 7), is also published by Macmillan.
Axel Scheffler is a star illustrator within the children's book world, and has created many prize-winning and bestselling books for Macmillan. He has enjoyed particular success in his collaborations with Julia Donaldson.
