Si l'étude arriveà dégager de la fiction, comme l'antiquaire du sol et du luxe de la végétation orien tale, latigure de l'homme, avec ce type que lui impri maient, il y a trois mille ans, ses sentiments, ses idées, ses moeurs, ce sera une conquête dont l'histoire elle même pourra profiter.
