D'un autre côté, il ne nous était pas permis de né gliger, à propos de l'industrie qui nous occupe, le patois de Verviers, dont le vocabulaire s'est enrichi d'une foule de termes spéciaux que l'on ne trouverait pas ailleurs or, ce patois a sa prononciation et son orthographe propres, les mots que l'on y rencontre ont leur signification parti cuhere, quelquefois complétement difi'érente de celle où on les emploie à Liège.
