Dr. Hastings presents a clear and concise account of the rise of English language teaching and learning in KSA, at the national and at the local level, from when the nation state was first established in the early 1930s to the present day.

Christopher Hastings is an English Language Fellow with the U.S. Department of State's English Language Programs. He teaches at Academic Writing at ITMO University in St. Petersburg, Russia and has been teaching ESL and EFL since 2001. He has taught in China, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Iraq, Colombia, Brazil, and the U.S.
