A dir vero, pensando ch'io medesimo non seppi che dopo molti anni risolvermi a tentarne l'effetto scenico, sono condotto ad argomentare che quei giudici le con tendessero l' esperimento della recitazione almeno per quei riguardi artistici o pratici che non trovarono indulgenza neppure presso di me, il quale dovevo pur essere il giu dice meno imparziale e Spassionato.
