His present edition I have very con siderably enlarged by adding part second, consisting more particularly of Cases illustrating the Constitutional Cure of Dis eases of the Skin, and this has necessitated an alteration in the title of the work. Almost every day brings me evidence confirmatory of my views of the constitutional nature of skin diseases, and I am increasingly impressed with the dire results that accrue to those su¿'erers therefrom whose cutaneous mani festations have been got rid of by lotions and ointments.
