It's the dawn of world's end, a deadly virus is decimating humanity, and chaos reigns over England.
After being left for dead, Police Sergeant Danny Weston wakes to find his wife being eaten by zombies and his twelve-year-old daughter, Summer, missing. A posthumous promise sets him on a quest to find her amongst the 'twitchers' and the last of the human race. Danny learns of her abductor's intentions, and it becomes a race against time to rescue Summer from the fortress of self-appointed messiah, the Preacher. A psychotic paedophile with delusions of megalomania.
Amid the chaos, Danny finds help from a resilient young woman and a rescued slave boy, but the trio will soon realise that in a world gone to hell, zombies are not the only monsters.
