Le régiment de Condé n'est point à son rang d'an cienneté, parce qu'il a cessé de faire partie de l'ar mée française pendant les troubles de la Fronde et qu'il n'a repris place qu'en 1659 à la paix des Pyré nées après la soumission et le retour en grâce du Grand Condé. Nous donnerons cependant son his toire depuis son origine.
