Treating atmospheric air by adsorption on activated carbon filters

Activated carbon filters represent a good technology to filter polluted outdoor air from crowded cities, where traffic is the main pollution source. In this case outdoor air cannot be considered clean air to be introduced into the buildings. Activated carbon filters can be used in these cases to be implemented into Air Handling Devices or in indoor air cleaning devices, for the same purposes. I consider this technology one of the most important in the future of building ventilation.
