Informationen zum Autor Jeremi Suri holds the Mack Brown Distinguished Chair for Leadership in Global Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a professor in the University's Department of History and the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs. Professor Suri is the author of five books on contemporary politics and foreign policy. In 2007 Smithsonian Magazine named him one of America's Top Young Innovators in the Arts and Sciences. His writings appear widely in blogs and print media. Professor Suri is also a frequent public lecturer and guest on radio and television programs.Benjamin Valentino is an Associate Professor of Government at Dartmouth College. He serves as co-director of the Government Department Honors Program and is the faculty coordinator for the War and Peace Studies Program at the Dickey Center for International Understanding. Professor Valentino's book Final Solutions: Mass Killing and Genocide in the 20th Century received the Edgar S. Furniss Book Award for making an exceptional contribution to the study of national and international security. His work has appeared in outlets including The New York Times, Foreign Affairs, The American Political Science Review, Security Studies, International Organization and The Journal of Politics.
