The writer wishes to impose limitations restricting his analysis only to such Vampires whose existence is substantiated by historically documented evidence and other empirical evidence proven by reliable sources that had carried out extensive research and produced such studies as printed publications. As an exponent of discreet and meticulous research, the writer has taken due care to exclude from his analysis even reported cases of True Vampirism that touch even a semblance of fiction.The word "revenant" is derived from the Latin word "revenans" and the related French verb is "revenir" which means "to come back". Perhaps due to a misunderstanding of the word 'Revenant' as an Undead person who 'comes back' or 'returns' to his former life only with the sole purpose of wreaking vengeance on the perpetrators of crime or stated differently,only to avenge his murder,the Revenants who lived during the medieval era had been stigmatized as violent individuals on their own accord or as living dead or Undead, manipulated by demonic animation.But, Real Revenants are a category of individuals who are rather harmless and perhaps possessed somewhat paranormal powers both physically and mentally.
