"Fabio Pasinetti ed io, nel novembre 2008 abbiamo attraversato a piedi, in totale autonomia, il deserto bianco egiziano, per un percorso di 250 chilometri che abbiamo coperto in due settimane. Temperature estreme, dune altissime, infide pietraie non ci hanno sconfitto. Provati, ma con una gioia immensa, abbiamo tagliato il traguardo. Per me la settima impresa nel deserto, per Fabio, che è non vedente, la dimostrazione di potercela fare. Per entrambi l'avverarsi di un sogno condiviso.
