Polycystic Ovary Syndrome - An alternative therapy

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the main causes of female infertility. It affects 5-10% of women of reproductive age. Although metformin and other modern drugs are available for the treatment of PCOS, prolonged usage of these drugs may produce many side effects. As India is rich in ayurvedic medicine, many drugs are investigated to treat and manage these infertility problems. In this context, the role of Mehani - an ayurvedic drug in treating various abnormalities associated with PCOS is presented in this book.
