Where it is faid in our tranilanon, that, be made bi: grajve, in the or1g1nal it is, be gave bzs grave witb ibe wicked; fo that the pronoun be may he meant, either of the Fe z'ber his giving, or it may be under¿ood of the Medi ator' 3 giving himfelf; and (0 the meaning is, that it came not to pais by gneis on God's fide, but was by him well ordered; and tipon the Mediator's fide it fets f01th his willingnefs to go to the grave, and his having an over ruling hand, as God, in his own death and burial; as he faith, John 11. 18. No man tabez'b my life from me, but I lay 11' down myfelf; his death and burial wete determined and well ordered, as to all the circum¿ances of both, by a divine de cree and by an over-ruling handfof providence, and this agrees well with the reafon fubjoined becaufe he willingly condefcended to die; God put a difference betwixt him and others, as is clear in that of John x.
