Immune-Thermal Crosstalk in Cattle

Book deals with identification of certain Pathogen Recognition Receptors (PRRs) and immune cytokines deferentially expressed during thermal stress among native and crossbred cattle. Results revealed that native cattle are better immunecompetent than their crossbred counterparts. This work was partly supported by Science and Engineering Research Board with the project code YSS/2014/000279 at ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cattle, Meerut,Uttar Pradesh, India.
