Informationen zum Autor SEBASTIAN KRAPOHL is Assistant Professor of International Relations and European Politics at the Otto-Friedrich-University of Bamberg, Germany. His research interests include EU politics, risk regulation and regional integration within and outside Europe. Sebastian Krapohl has published articles in the Journal of European Public Policy , the European Law Journal and the European Journal of Political Research . Klappentext This book demonstrates how the Thalidomide catastrophe of the 1960s and the BSE crisis of the 1990s led to regulatory regimes for pharmaceuticals and foodstuffs in Europe. However, the developmental paths of these regimes differ ¿ and so does the efficiency and legitimacy of regulatory policy-making.
