Library Catalogue in the University Libraries

In the digital era library and information science has adopted information technology. The present book has been prepared in such a way that students can easily grasp all the possible facts about the library catalogue. With the help of library catalogue any person can easily access the bibliographical details of a particular library. The book is based on the online catalogue searching techniques and different aspects of it. In the last the present book, an attempt to know the use of online public access catalogue in the university libraries which has been taken as a research work.

Rajinder Kumar is presently working as an Assistant Librarian at Nehru Library, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India. He has already served in Vaish Technical Institute, Rohtak as a Lecturer in Library Science. He has published two books and contributed more than 25 articles in different national, international journals, conferences.
