This book sheds light on the importance of salt water as a source of potable water because it taking significant attention by the scientific research as a major supplier of potable water compared with the other resources. Therefore, we will present all the methods used in desalination to become valid for using as potable water and agriculture applications. Besides spotlight on the oil _eld wastewater or produced water that used in petroleum oil sector. Whereas, produced water contains various organic and inorganic components. Meanwhile, the discharging of producing water can pollute surface and underground water and soil. Due to the increasing volume of waste all over the world in the current decade, the outcome and effect of discharging produced water on the environment have lately become a signi_cantgive of environmental concern. The produced water is conventionally treated through dissimilar physical, chemical, and biological methods.
