El 4 nos embarcamos en el vapor que nos condujo a Valparaiso, donde llegamos el 6 bastante temprano para tomar el tren de diez a Santiago, llegando las colecciones en mui buena condicion, aunque algunos paquetes que contenían las plantas recojidas al último estaban algo calientes, por haber estado tanto tiempo encajonadas sin poderles mudar papel.
