Es 'el cultivo ¡del naranjo uno de aquellos que más me rece, y con preferencia, fijar la atencion de los agricultores cubanos, no sólo por el comercio interior que está llamado a sostener, sino tambien por la exportacion considerable de sus productos. En la actualidad, por motivos varios, este ramo de explotacion agrícola como otros muchos de no menor importancia, se encuentra muy descuidado; mas no dudamos que muy pronto adquiera todo el desarrollo que exigen nuestros intereses.
