Das vorliegende Buch soll als Wegweiser bei physikalischen Messungen dienen. Nachdem die erste, zunächst für meine Praktikanten in Gottingen im Jahre 1869 gedruckte Auflage auch anderweitigen Eingang gefunden hat, habe ich die jetzige durch bessere Anordnung und Vervollständigung zum Gebrauch in weiteren Kreisen tauglich zu machen gesucht.
