Luminescence Investigation of rare earth activated silcates phosphors

Recent developments in field of luminescent materials show the lot of interest in this area.The silicates are the largest, the most interesting and the most complicated class of minerals than any other minerals. Silicate materials are useful in may applications of technological importance. In the present work photo luminescence investigation of rare earth activated silicate based phosphor were studied.
