Le premier volume que nous avons consacré à Ed Fox, Glamour From the Ground Up, présentait l'héritier de cette niche photographique si particulière dont le grand Elmer Batters a longtemps été le maître incontesté - même si notre natif de Californie n'avait jamais entendu parler de Batters lorsqu'il a commencé à immortaliser les pieds des femmes. Dian Hanson hat von 1976 bis 2001 verschiedene Herrenmagazine produziert, darunter Juggs, Outlaw Biker und Leg Show, bis sie 2001 schließlich Herausgeberin der TASCHEN Sexy Books wurde. Zu ihren mehr als 60 Büchern für TASCHEN gehören The Art of Pin-up und Psychedelic Sex. Sie lebt in Los Angeles.
