A Pragmatic Analysis of Change and Majimbo: A Kenyan Perspective

This text analyzes the encyclopedic and logical meaning of the concepts Change and Majimbo using the Relevance Theory. The text looks at how politicians manipulate the electorates into accepting or rejecting concepts; how they present the concepts and the effect the concepts have on the electorates. Tenets of relevance theory have been applied to explain the relevance of the concepts and the varied interpretations that the electorates have during elections.
