The world generally is now directing its focus on the need for its entire inhabitant to be sensitive to environmental protection because the continuous sustenance of the life of an individual is dependent on the adequate protection of the environment. As the outcry for environmental protection is on the increase, it is needful to carry the crusade beyond the actions of the government and that of the individual citizenry, companies as artificial persons should be made to become major players in this venture most especially when it is so obvious that most of their explorative activities have occasioned several negative impact on the environment. This book therefore espouses the issue of corporate social responsibility and its relevance to environmental protection.

Samuel Iroye is a Legal Practitioner, prolific writer, lecturer and a motivational speaker. He is also a seasoned Pastor who founded ¿Grace Life Foundation', a non-governmental faith based organisation. He is undergoing his PhD Programme and presently a Law Lecturer at the National Open University of Nigeria, Victoria Island, Lagos State, Nigeria.
